About Kringshoppen
What is Kringshoppen?
Kringshoppen is a platform where thrift- and secondhandstores can sell their products. This way, the consumer has an easy overview of what’s for sale throughout the country.
The problem:
Online, it is often hard to find the exact piece of furniture that you want, and visiting every thrift- or secondhand store nearby takes a lot of time.
We had this exact problem when decorating our student rooms, that’s how we came up with the idea to make a platform with an overview of what’s available throughout the country.
Our solution:
Recycling secondhand products is cheaper and better for the environment, because no new products have to be made. This saves a lot of trash and emissions.
Taking climate change in mind, we are of the opinion that thrift- and secondhand stores are going to play a bigger and more important role in the reuse of products, in the future.
For this reason, we want to offer an online platform to the stores, and to you as consumer. This way, we hope to make your life easier and cheaper!

Who are we?
We are Koen & Stijn and together, we founded Kringshoppen. Since 2020, we have been friends and quickly started living in the same student flat in Breda.
When our life became more and more restricted due to the COVID-19 lockdowns, we didn’t know what to do. Inspired by friends and family, we decided we wanted to start a project by starting our own company
One thing led to another, and Kringshoppen was born. The result is this platform, and it is still evolving every day! We are happy to have you here and we hope that we can make your life a little easier by offering Kringshoppen!
